Who is MattTheGardenGuy

Matt The Garden Guy started with a large backyard garden and a lot of questions from friends and family. Instead of answering the same questions over and over, I started sharing what I was learning along the way.

Today, I make videos, share real garden builds, and show what actually works (and what doesn’t). My goal is to make gardening feel approachable — whether you’re growing your first plant or planning a full garden setup. My wife and kids are often part of the process, because gardening is something we do together as a family.

By day, I work as a Senior Infrastructure Manager. Gardening is how I slow down, recharge, and teach my kids where their food really comes from.
